The Clown BullFighters we have at the Calgary Stampede tease the animals in order to protect the Rider, unlike the historic slayers of the past. This juxtaposition is something that I've wanted to explore in my art. To have the direct comparison between the perceived roles of different time eras with different mediums shows how things can change.
